A Case Study on Class Bidding

Abstract

This study seeks to decide if a relationship exist between the number of student enrollment for a particular class and evaluation scores. The factors used to decide this relationship include overall class, instructor, workload and grading scores. The outcome of this study is to help business school administrators understand how much, if any, evaluation scores affect a student’s decision in registering for a class during class bidding.

Data Collection

Data was obtained from a random sample of 100 course evaluation scores from the 2012-2013 academic year.

Analysis Model

Five-variable multiple regression model
Y = β0 + β1X1 + β2X2 + β3X3 + β4X4 = 0
